Link to PLATEAU on Amazon. Was quietly released at 8am on Sat 2nd February 2013 and climbed into the top 60 on the Short Story Chart. It continues to get attention and at only 77p it is cheaper than a packet of crisps in a vending machine.
The first story of MARTIN MARTIN.
Some good early reviews on Amazon
‘Plateau’ (hopefully) combines the best surrealist humour of Peter Cook and Armando Ianucci, the horror of modern monotony favoured by JG Ballard and the unexpected treachery of Roald Dahl; balanced with a little niche-pastiche of my own.
Possibly the first in a series of Martin Martin misadventures (I have started two sequels), please check my Twitter feed for more info on the release,
Press interviews & preview copies are available on request.
Please check out Ross' blog
AMAZON REVIEWS @ 1st April 2013
Take a journey to work with Martin Martin a man who, like many of us has grown weary with the world and his place within it. However things could be looking up as an interview for a promotion is about to take place. How will the interview go? Will he get the job? Will he get killed by suicide bombers on route? There are some genuine laugh out loud moments in this first short story from writer Ross Keen. It maybe surreal bit a lot of Martin Martin's life rang true with this reader. Well worth the download

MR COOL'S DREAM - THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE STYLE COUNCIL by Iain Munn.
The highly respected book, Mr Cool's Dream, dedicates itself to The Style Council. It is still the only book to offer an accurate and highly detailed insight into Weller's 'forgotten' years. Paperback, Hardback and now an EBOOK on Kindle and Apple Stores in January 2011.
Mr Cool’s Dream, The Complete History of The Style Council went through many revisions before it got to published Paperback status in January 2006. The success of this release and the advances in Social Networking allowed contact to be made with many Style Councillor’s where it was not possible before. This resulted in a hugely expanded “Cost Of Loving” Hardboard edition in 2008.
The 2011 ebook further enhances the product with more information gathered since the hardback - including quotes from Dee & Mick. Of course it does not include any of the pictures from the printed editions. However, instead of costing £80 (current Amazon value) the RRP £18.99 is available for only £3.49 (UK); $5.52 (USA/Canada) and €3.22 (Europe).
Printed editions SOLD OUT.
Only available as an ebook - Kindle, Itunes or Kobo -

It's been big year for me - I've had an amazing time touring with Peter Andre and meeting so many of you after the shows has been fantastic. If you check my facebook you can look back on the night you went to, and if you had your picture taken with me - it'll be there!

My first eBook is scheduled for an early 2013 release via Wholepoint Publications.
Without giving too much away, ‘Plateau’ is the story of a Martin Martin who, mid-life and mid-love, is on his way to the Interview that could return his life to purpose.
‘Plateau’ (hopefully) combines the best surrealist humour of Peter Cook and Armando Ianucci, the horror of modern monotony favoured by JG Ballard and the unexpected treachery of Roald Dahl; balanced with a little niche-pastiche of my own.
